DESCRIPTION:
Roscato is a range of irresistible high-quality wines from Northern Italy. This still blend of Northern Italian grapes is rich and bold while still offering a pleasing, well-balanced taste with soft tannins. With marked overtones of black fruits (blackberry and plum) combined with hints of coffee and chocolate, Roscato Dark shows a wild variety of fragrances and flavors. Nothing about Roscato Dark is ordinary, including its unique label design, which reflects the quality of wine inside.
VINIFICATION:
The wine is fermented in contact with the grape skins at a temperature of not more than 79°F, in order to preserve its fruity aroma. The wine is then aged in stainless steel tanks and in medium-sized casks for about 12 months, after which the wines are blended and allowed to age for a further 2/3 months in stainless steel tanks before bottling.
COLOR: Deep Ruby Red
NOSE: Bright and lively, with marked overtones of red fruits (blackberries, plum) combined with hints of coffee and chocolate. The blend of different grape varieties gives this wine an interesting variety of fragrances and flavors.
PALATE: Pleasing and well-balanced to the palate, with hints of black cherries, exotic spices and vanilla
and with a soft, velvety tannin taste
