This cuvee is a blend of Napa Valley climates and terroir, the grapes having been grown in regions as diverse as the Green Valley, Pope Valley and Wooden Valley regions of the Napa Valley AVA. The Cabernet Franc gives the wine a soft, well balanced, elegant finish, the extended aging has produced very smooth tannins, very approachable and drinkable now. Look for nuances of flavors including cigar box, oregano, caramel, dark cinnamon, caramel, blackberries, dark cherries, licorice, dark plums and toasted bread. This wine pairs perfectly with roast leg of veal, roast leg of pork, or roasted chicken. - Winery
