Deliciously aromatic! Notes of white peach, ginger, warm brioche, chamomile flower, honeysuckle and quinine notes that all ripple through the long, concentrated finish. Ripe, but steely and dry. A complex, stunning beauty. - Winery
In 2002, Chidaine aquired the vineyards of the prestigious Clos Baudoin estate in Vouvray (the only site in the Loire referred to as ‘Grand Cru’), renting them from the Poniatowski family with the option to purchase. Poniatowski always favored natural winemaking methods, and Chidaine's conversion to biodynamism further improved great vineyard material. Chidaine officially bought the vineyard in 2006. Having replanting many of the vines and converted the Clos to biodyanimism, the wines shine even brighter.
