Walldeaux Smithie is bold and juicy with a firm structure. The full flavors and smooth tannins suggest a new-world wine while its focus and balance, dark fruit and spice flavors are definitely reminiscent of old world Bordeaux. - Winery
Walldeaux is a non-vintage blend for more consistency and density. Blending vintages allows a full tasting experience with complex layers from the “older” vintage (2006), combining with fruity, youthful and juicy mouth filling flavors from the “younger” vintage (2007). I truly enjoy the fruit intensity of the ‘everyday French wines’, usually a wine of the year aged a short time in stainless tanks or used barrels.
