Summary:

Terroir:
The Crianza is sourced from low yielding Tempranillo grown on estate and other vineyards primarily in Rioja Alta, as well as additional sources in Rioja Alavesa and Rioja Baja.
Vinification:
The wine is macerated and fermented in stainless steel vats for 20-25 days with extended time on the skins to extract flavor and complexity, followed by 12 months aging in a combination of new and used American oak and 6 months in bottle prior to release.

This 100% Tempranillo shows layers of fresh raspberries, cherry, cedar and spice typical of a classically styled Rioja. This is all wrapped up in a vanilla and leather laiden package that is medium in body and sports a long, soft finish. Always a good value!
