The Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon and 14% Merlot, aged 20 months in new French oak barrels. An expressive aromatic array of berries (blackberries, strawberries, blueberry) are integrated with notes of sage, anise and bittersweet chocolate. The sweet entry is followed by flavors of perfectly ripened plum and roasted dark fruit. With a rich mid-palate, bright acidity and firm supple tannins, the 2006 TC Vineyards Cabernet is approachable now, but will continue to drink well for the next 15 years. - Winery
