The Riesling is a grape variety which is ideally suited to the Finger Lakes Region. Our soil types and cool growing season mature the grape slowly, producing fresh, bright fruit, floral aromas and flavors reminiscent of nectarines and honey. Hosmer Estate Red is a blend of Vinifera and French-American hybrid grape varieties including DeChaunac, Merlot, and a touch of Chardonnay to soften the mouth feel.
