Tom Gore is a second generation grape farmer from Sonoma County and from the time he learned to walk, he was stomping alongside his dad, getting dirty, and taking care of the grapes. VINTAGE: The 2017 growing season started off with average precipitation with the winter rains facilitating healthy vines throughout the coastal regions. Canopies looked spectacular heading into the spring and early summer. Bud break was later than the previous vintage. Warm, sunny days followed during fruit set. GRAPE SOURCING:We sourced our grapes from select Central Coast and North Coast vineyards where cool nights and warm afternoon breezes ripen the fruit slowly for intense, delicious flavor. North Coast vineyards showcase grassy notes with flavors of grapefruit and melon, while Central Coast vineyards feature hints of asparagus and citrus.
