Description:
The 2019 has a deep purple color with an attractive magenta hue. Intense aromas include ripe plums, cherries, violets, mineral notes, vanilla and chocolate (from the wine’s aging in French Oak), and some spice. Harmonious on the palate, with balanced acidity and delicate tannins, making for a persistent finish.
Winemaker Notes:
The grapes for L10 Premium Malbec come from 3 different terroirs: Agrelo (Lujan de Cuyo), Uco Valley, and from 3 different vineyards in San Rafael (Finca Dona Elsa, Finca Asti and Finca Costanza). The different soils and different micro-climates lead to complex aromas and flavors. The grapes were hand-picked. Twenty percent of the wine spent 8 months in French oak. The remaining 80% was left in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 8 months.
