    Tasting Notes:

This straw-colored wine has golden reflections. To the nose, it gives off pronounced floral scents that become fruity, recalling the flavor of apple and ripened pear. The palate will find this wine soft and engulfing as it wisely combines good body with pleasantly acidic nervature, which provides for fresh drinkability. Well-balanced in all its components, this wine has a good level of persistence.

DECANTER WORLD WINE AWARDS 2018 - GOLD: Medium intense nose with candied fruit and tropical notes. Agile and interesting on the palate, with a good length and mineral character. Ready to drink now but it has a backbone of acidity and concentrated fruit to allow it to improve for a half-dozen more years. Top drawer. - Decanter Magazine 95 Points

In the 1960’s, Genagricola, an established group that has brought together a number of celebrated brands from across Italy, had the chance to acquire Torre Rosazza, a historic winery on the hills of Manzano that’s housed in the 18th century Palazzo De Marchi. Sensing an opportunity, they accepted and immediately began researching the 90 hectares of vineyards so as to identify the characteristics and composition of each plot of land. They then divided it up according to exposure to the sun and geologic properties so as to best bring out the attributes of each grape variety. With a closely-knit staff that are masterfully orchestrated by Enrico Raddi (and consulting enologist Riccardo Cottarella), they have, for some time now, operated at the heights of excellence.

Torre Rosazza magical moment continues with their 2016 Pinot Grigio, which has whipped strong competition to win Tre Bicchieri once again. This year it made it to the finals together with an excellent 2016 Friulano (they clearly form a solid and winning duo). - Gambero Rosso Tres Bicchieri
