This epic blend is produced from the legendary Lapierre duo and their cousin, Christophe Pacalet. Each domaine vinifies their own Juliénas and post malolactic fermentation, the cuvées are combined into a 50/50 blend. Darker and more savory than their Morgon bottling, this silky Julienas shows classic flavors of juicy berries and tart black fruit, marked by zesty acidity and solid structure. Deep, shimmering ruby. Ripe cherry, blue fruit, earth and floral aromas show very good energy and take on a spicy accent that gains strength with air. Juicy and concentrated in the mouth, offering powerful boysenberry and bitter cherry flavors and a sweetening hint of candied violet.
