Description:
Its typical characteristic is the particular production method used called “Ripasso”. The best part of the Valpolicella is fermented on the Amarone marcs to increase the alcoholic percentage, obtaining a wine richer in colour, extracts and flavours. It has an intense ruby red colour and a fruity perfume with notes of almonds. The taste is soft and warm, full-bodied. To serve at 18°C, uncorking the bottle one hour before drinking. Excellent with red, roasted meat and matured cheeses.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER:
For the Arduini family, fine wine isn’t just a business, it’s a way of life! The Arduini Vineyards were founded in the 1940’s when grandfather Gabriele Arduini purchased the first farm in Marano di Valpolicella. It wasn’t long before the “family business” grew into a substantial operation. Thanks to his sons Battista, Alfredo and Turrido, two more vineyards were added in 1969. The first lays in Corrubbio, close to San Pietro in Cariano, and the second in Campara, close to Pastrengo. By adding the vineyard in Corrubbio, the Arduini family acquired lands belonging to the ancient Villa Banda Amistà, as we can realize through the Fongo Fontain, which lays close to the farm.
In 2002 Arduini Vineyards modernized; first by updating the farm, then by selling the wine with its own trade mark. Presently, Gabriele’s grandson, Luciano, looks after the cultivation of the grapes and wine – making, assisted by his son Andrea, while his wife, Silvana, is the financial manager.
Arduini farm lays in Monte Sacchetti, between Corrubbio and Castelrotto, in the DOC district. The farm vineyards extend on typical “tufo – made” terracings, called “marogne”.
In total, the Arduini Vineyards amount to at least 7 hectares and the grapevines vary with their placing. As a matter of fact, you will find the “pergoletta veronese” vines in the hill, and the “spalliera” and “guyot” vines in the flat area. The largest part of the vineyards lay on “Monte Sacchetti” hill, which is the name they have given to the Garda Garganega wine.
