A Malbec from Agrelo that spent nine months aging in used French and American barrels. Bright purple in hue with an herbal, balsamic nose offering fairly intense eucalyptus and ripe plum notes. In the mouth it presents spiky tannins, an alcoholic kick and a tartaric element whose liveliness sets things a little off-kilter. A tasty wine nonetheless. - Vinous Media 88 points
