    VINTAGE:

2018 was a good harvest, following a long growing season characterized by moderate temperatures throughout the spring and summer. Mild summer weather and adequate rainfall allowed fruit to mature slowly without heat stress, perfect for achieving high-quality flavor and balance.

    TASTING:

Cooper & Thief Pinot Noir offers the bright red fruit aromas of a classic Pinot Noir blended with spiced notes from our brandy barrels. Lush and jammy flavors of Rainier cherries and baking spice mélange dance across the tongue, finishing with a warm, oak-driven embrace.

    SOURCING:

We take quality grapes from select California growing regions and stash them in ex-brandy barrels for 75 days. Where do we get our barrels? Therein lies the mischief and a secret we keep for ourselves. The California appellation allows us the flexibility to continue to source quality grapes from the best regions each vintage.

    Pros:
    Cons:
This is a heavily bodied Pinot that drinks like a Cab. Jammy and caramely just as stated on the label. My personal favorite and my friends love it now too!
