TASTING NOTES & FOOD PAIRING SUGGESTIONS:
Aromas of dark, ripe bing cherries and toasty caramel. Full and fleshy in the mouth with loads of ripe and spicy red and black fruits. Firm tannins and great structure for such a drinkable wine with a long, persistent finish that continues to dance on your tongue long after the first sip.

Pair with traditional red friendly foods like hamburgers, steak, ribs and pizza, and grilled or roasted chicken.

    WINERY BACKGROUND:
Bodini is a wine brand built on dreams of individuals not institutions. When Ed y Nick met the Bodini vineyard and winemaking teams, there was no doubt these individuals were pursuing their dreams – the dream of the vineyard workers to work passionately in their sustainably-farmed high elevation vineyards, the dream of young 2nd generation winemaker Jose Lovaglio to make his own mark, and the dream of the winery to promote the well-being of its employees, their families, and the community. 5% of Bodini’s profits are donated to charities in Mendoza, including the Dominio del Plata Scholarship Foundation which is dedicated to providing education opportunittes to winery worker families throughout Argentina.

The logo pictured in the bottom right hand corner of Bodini labels signifies the importance of the three ideals that provide the backbone of the Bodini motto: “Sustainability. Social Responsibility. Scholarship.”

    WINEMAKING DETAILS:
The vineyards are located in Agrelo, Ugarteche (Luján de Cuyo), and Cruz de Piedra (Maipú). The grapes are hand-harvested and aged 4 months in 50% French oak & 50% American oak. - Winery

    Cons:
It is not my fav but it quenches my Malbec palette with strong fruit notes and slightly nutty. Very smooth finish
