This wine is a pure expression of the pristine, natural setting from which it came. Situated just below the shadow of Mount Saint Helena on the Lake County side of Highway 29, Horne Ranch has a unique mix of rich, volcanic soil and mountain valley loam. The ranch is ideally situated at 1000 feet, surrounded by mountains and valley streams.
Striking an enticing balance between liveliness and density. This Cabernet vintage offers plush, round aromas of dark fruit and herbs followed by a blend of blackberry, black cherry, blueberry, cassis, herbs, and mocha with ripe and smooth finish. This Cabernet Sauvignon with pleasant tannins and abundant fruit that is approachable when young, yet capable of aging gracefully.
This wine reflects the climate and soils of our Horne Ranch vineyard sites and Beaver Creek's commitment to organic and biodynamic farming and quality handcrafted winemaking.
