TASTING NOTES:
This 2013 Pinot Noir is an elegant and graceful styled wine with pure red berry, spices and red plumb notes. It has a very nice finish that lingers and a balance fitting for food.
The wine is medium bodied with a bright berry red color.
Drink now or lay down for aging. It is fabulous now or cellar up to eight years.
FERMENTATION:
This Pinot Noir was fermented in open top fermenters. The must is hand punched down twice a day for optimal color, flavor and tannins. The process took 12 days. The wine is pressed into tanks to settle and then barrel aged for ten months.
