2014 CHARDONNAY:
Monterey County offers warm days and cool nights, as fog from the Pacific Ocean is funneled in via wind from the bay. This cooler climate is excellent for our Chardonnay, bringing delicious flavor with a healthy acid profile.
The winemaking techniques listed below, in conjunction with outstanding fruit, helped bring the rich, flavorful wine together.
TASTE PROFILE:
Monterey County delivers a classic Chardonnay with a toasty finish. The Slow Press winemaking process magnifies fruit aromas and delivers notes of fresh apple, lemon, and pear. Slow Press Chardonnay is aged in American oak

This restrained, focused, well priced and crowd-pleasing Chardonnay shows butter, Gravenstein apple, Meyer lemon and almond touches on the nose. On the palate, poached apple fruit is interwoven with lemon and vanilla. - Wine Enthusiast Magazine 90 Points
