    TASTING NOTES:
Violet and black cherry fill the nose with this enticing Petite Sirah/Petit Verdot blend. Dark plum, vanilla bean, and a dusting of cocoa powder develop on the mid palate with evident floral aromas. Ready to drink now, but this wine will age nicely in the bottle over the next year or two.

    HISTORY:
Like elephants whose size is imposing, Petite Petit is large! A blend of 85% Petite Sirah and 15% Petit Verdot. Offering a joyous explosion of color and fun, it is a substantial, dense, full-bodied, whopper style of wine loaded with pure black fruit and vanilla flavors that coat the palate. It reveals remarkable richness with a finish that is slightly dry and seems to linger.

    GROWING CONDITIONS:
2013 started off slow, but before we knew it we had grapes! Whites came off the vine a few weeks early, setting the precedent for an unusual harvest. The reds were also on their own schedule, coming into the winery out of their usual order. Fortunately we had exceptional weather with warm days and cool nights to balance this uncommon season, so the fruit couldn’t have been any better!
