Tasting
It is deep cherry. It has intense aromas of red ripe fruit (ripe raspberry) which combine perfectly with the spicy notes of cacao, vanilla and licorice corresponding to a noble aging. It is very fresh and fruity and spicy aromas come back via retro-nasal. It is a magnificent expression of an elegant Garnacha from Aragon. - Winery
The 2017 Atteca feels more structured than the 2016 I tasted next to it, but at the same time a little riper and perhaps with a more hurried ripening cycle, so the 2016 felt more complete and balanced. This feels younger, and the oak is a little more evident too. This is not a shy wine with 15.5% alcohol. 66,000 bottles produced. - Robert Parker 89 Points
