Description:
The color is a very deep scarlet with an amaranth hue. The wine has a lifted bouquet of white pepper, black cherries, cedar and spice, with notes of fresh cut tobacco. The integrated palate is driven with fruit flavors of plums, black currants, mulberries, and blackberries, carrying undertones of French oak, fennel seed and black pepper.
Winemaker Notes:
The fruit tannin structure in the 2019 Shiraz is integrated and soft-supported with French oak influence and natural acidity.
Serving Hints:
Pairs very well with slow-cooked brisket, grilled lamb, grass fed beef or a hearty beef stew, and, of course, steak.
