Hard cider has been increasingly growing in popularity across the U.S., and small orchards and wineries have tapped into this growth to switch production from fruit to ferment. Not only are they finding alternate uses for excess apples, but also helping their bottom lines.

Cider production however is nothing new to the United States. The first English settlers planted orchards after arriving in the new world. Faced with mostly crab-apples, English settlers requested seeds from back home. Apple trees grew easily in New England and the excess abundance of apples were fermented into cider.

Gluten free (*verify with the maker) and with styles ranging from dry to sweet and tangy, cider is easy to drink and refreshing.

Bellwether Hard Cider Item #: 9107724 -

The name says it all -- our first cider, and still a big favorite. (Okay, so we aren't too clever with naming!). Semi-dry; 6.5% alcohol; sparkling; delicate apple taste; crisp and refreshing; pairs well with grilled meats, chicken, fish, and spicy dishes (from chili to Asian foods) - Winery ** Only 1 in Stock **
