Notes: This sake is genshu, or undiluted, which adds to the alcohol content. But there is more to love about this brew than just its strength. It has an almost creamy texture that delivers layers of flavors like pear, lychee and banana. Beneath it all lies a nutty vein that only adds to the complexity. VINTAGE FACTS 2019: A relatively mild, early winter in 2018 was followed by a cold and wet second half of winter in 2019 and then a wet but warm spring.
