Quality standards are upheld with the Spanish Denominación de Origen (DO) system and labels may carry designations of the aging process used, Crianza, Reserva, and Gran Reserva (2yrs 6mos Oak, 3yrs, 1yrs Oak, 5yrs, 18mos and bottles for at least 3yrs. respectivly)
