    Colour:
Deep dark red with a purple hue.

    Aroma:
Vibrant notes of blueberry, plum, coconut, pastry and smoked meats.

    Palate:
Immediately appealing, with lovely weight and glossy texture, this full bodied Shiraz has hints of blueberry pie, sweet spices, plum, and fresh pastries. Sweet fruits and a glossy, velvet texture caresses the palate, complimented by secondary notes of smoked meats and coal dust. Grainy and savoury tannins pull the wine through to an exceptionally long and complex finish.

    Winemaking:
Crushed into and fermented in three to ten tonne open top fermenters with regular pump overs (three daily over peak fermentation) to extract colour, flavour and tannins. Following an average of 12 days of maceration, the free run was drained to tank and the skins pressed to the same tank. After 24 hours the wine was racked to barrel, where malolactic fermentation took place. Minimal fining and filtration is used.

    Maturation:
Aged for 18 months in 6% new French oak hogsheads and the remainder in two to six year old American and French oak.- Winery

A beautiful expression of pure blackberry fruit on a gleaming frame, shaded with hints of mint, rose petal and wet stone aromatics, mingling seamlessly as the finish glides through the harmonious finish. Drink now through 2022. 1,750 cases made. –HS - Wine Spectator Magazine 94 Points

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2012 Lily's Garden is profusely scented of warm blueberries, black plums and blackcurrant cordial with an undercurrent of licorice, mocha and pepper. Very big, full-bodied and packed with ripe black fruit and spice flavors, it has a medium to firm backbone of velvety tannins and just enough acidity. It finishes long and with a nice savory edge. Drink it now to 2022+. - Robert Parker 93+ Points

Youthful purple color. Black and blue fruits, licorice, lavender and smoky oak on the perfumed nose. Supple and expansive on the palate, offering intense cassis and blueberry flavors and a hint of candied flowers. Shows very good energy and depth, finishing sweet, velvety and long, with slow-mounting tannins and lingering spiciness. -- Josh Raynolds - Vinous 93 Points
