Bold yet graceful, offering a full-blown mix of red and dark berry, shaded by toasty, cedary oak. Ends with ripe plum and wilted rose scents, featuring firm, ripe tannins that let the flavors glide on. Drink now through 2022. 549 cases made. –JL - Wine Spectator Magazine 93 Points
A brilliant Pinot Noir that has a core of sweet fruit that’s balanced out by savory, mineral-like qualities, the 2011 Sierra Mar Vineyard has a medium-bodied mouthfeel, plenty of texture and juicy acidity. Slightly plump and upfront, this friendly beauty is hard to resist, and I see no reason to either. Enjoy bottles over the coming 5-6 years. Drink now-2019. - Robert Parker 92 Points
