A blend of 39% Shiraz, 38% Cabernet Sauvignon and 23% Merlot, the 2009 Clancy’s Shiraz Cabernet Merlot is deep garnet-purple colored, revealing notes of cassis, black plums and blackberries with some vanilla and spice hints. Medium to full bodied with a decent concentration of dark fruit flavors, it has a medium level of chewy tannins and crisp acidity, finishing long. Drink it now through 2014.
