Bright ruby-red. Energetic raspberry and cherry aromas are complemented by cinnamon, cola and vanilla. Becomes spicier with air, picking up anise and mace qualities that carry onto the palate and add lift to the deep red and dark berry flavors. Open-knit, sweet and velvety, with very good finishing breadth, clarity and grip. The fruit is quite primary right now but this wine is very promising. - Stephen Tanzer 91 Points
