Bright purple.  Spicy aromas of redcurrant, cherry, pipe tobacco and mint; reminds me a little of cabernet.  Tangy and vibrant on the palate, with flavors of tangy red fruits, bitter cherry and mint.  Finishes with a cool, medicinal aspect and dusty tannins, leaving a zesty red fruit note behind.
