Project CRASH came from the desire to be innovative, daring, and optimistic in difficult economic times. It is directed at peole who enjoy red wine and are prepared to be open minded about trying something different.
CRASH wine is a blend of Tempranillo, Shiraz, Grenache and Grenache Tintorera. It has aromas of stewed red fruit and is soft and ultra smooth on the palate. There is so much fruit its almost chewey without being at all overpowering. It has no oak ageing, its a wine with lovely rich, creamy, deep fresh fruit flavours; It's an informal wine designed to be experienced among friends with or without food.
The PopArt inspired label captures its sense of fun and the feeling that CRASH isn't just a product, it's an experience.
All the grapes are estate grown and hand harvested, quality and good value has been absolutley paramount in making this wine. The overriding impression from this winery is that they really love what they do. The care that is taken over the vines is incredible, as is the attention to the smallest details during the winemakeing process. It's great to see such a daring project from Spain. - Winery
