Juicy and fresh in the mouth, with nicely delineated flavors of dark fruits but slightly less concentration than the 2011 version. The finish is crisp and moderately long. This is a very good wine for its price, but the 2011 strikes me as fruitier and more focused.

The 2010 Chianti Cetamura possesses lovely energy and complexity at this level, with plenty of Sangiovese character backed up by lively acidity. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2014.
