The 2009 offerings begin with the entry level 2009 Pinot Noir Pappas Wine Company. A touch of herbs (sage and thyme) along with notes of cedar, spice box, and red fruits lead to an easy-going, spicy, amiable wine that will provide enjoyment over the next 4-5 years.

Light, bright red.  Strawberry and raspberry on the straightforward, lively nose.  Light in body and refreshingly brisk, offering racy red berry flavors.  The clean finish offers good bite and focus.  Not the last word in complexity but very easy to drink right now.
