Return Policy and Cancellations

According to New York State Law we are unable to accept any returns on orders of Alcohol. Any defective merchandise can be exchanged within 30 days of receipt of order.

Our Shipping Policy

Purchaser represents that purchaser is AT LEAST 21 years of age,  that there are no legal restrictions on purchaser's right to purchase and take delivery of wine, and that purchaser has truthfully entered their identity and purchasing information when placing this Order.

It is the policy of We Speak Wine to ship only to States where such shipments are permissible under local law.  By completing your order, you authorize We Speak Wine to act on your behalf and assist you to engage a common carrier  to deliver your wine to you.  You the buyer assume complete responsibility for the shipment of the wine. When your order is delivered, the person to whom the delivery is made will need to show identification to the shipper to verify his or her identity and age. WeSpeakWine will ship orders to you using United Parcel Service (UPS).

We do not deliver to PO, APO, or FPO box offices. If at any time one or more items are not available for shipment, we will notify you to offer substitutions or make other arrangements.

By placing and paying for this order, the purchaser represents that purchaser is familiar with and has complied with all applicable local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation, and delivery of wine, as the laws vary from state to state, as well as by locality within a state. Purchaser further states and agrees that We Speak Wine makes no representations as to the legal rights of any individual or entity to ship or transport wines into any state outside of New York.  As expressly stated above, you the consumer are accepting full legal responsibility for your purchase.

If store pickup is your only option, we do not ship to your state and only allow in store pickup. We apologize for the inconvenience and would like to thank you for shopping with We Speak Wine.

Extreme Weather Policy
In the event of extreme weather conditions (i.e. heat and/or cold), We Speak Wine reserves the right to delay the release of shipments in order to maintain the high quality of products at the time of arrival.

Summer Shipping/Storage Options

At We Speak Wine, we know the importance of proper storage, and understand that during the warmer months, shipping wine can become hazardous to the wine. That is why we offer FREE storage for the summer in our temperature controlled wine cellar. After your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email. Just reply to the email with your instructions, and we will happily hold your wine until you would like it shipped.

SHIPPING TIMES for Ground Services
Shipping times do not include Saturday and Sunday.
Most orders ship in 1-2 business days. Many orders placed early in the day are shipped the same day. These are not guaranteed polices.
Shipping times vary based on which zone you are ordering from. Shipping will take usually 1-7 days in transit depending on location.

Shipping to States outside of New York
Placing an order with We Speak Wine shows you understand the shipping rules of your state. Many states impose limitations on the quantity of wine that is allowed into the state. Please research your local laws before placing an order with We Speak Wine.

Sales tax is not charged to orders shipped outside the States of New York and New Hampshire.
