WINE DESCRIPTION:The Tilia wines are made at Bodegas Esmeralda in the Eastern region of Mendoza. They are made by Leopoldo Kuschnaroff, a winemaker and viticulturist in charge of all Catena family vineyards in Eastern Mendoza. Notes: Full yet soft with an intense red ruby color and concentrated juicy berry fruit aromas that lead into flavors of blackberry and red currant fruit with well-balanced smooth tannins. Hints of vanilla cocoa and sweet oak appear on the finish.

Notes: Inky and dense with attractive berry aromas and a touch of cinnamon and sweet spice. A fully, fruity wine, with excellent body, intense tannins, flavors of cherry, blackberry, boysenberry and plum intermingled with hints of cardamom and pepper, a long, full finish.

Description: The 2019 has a deep purple color with an attractive magenta hue. Intense aromas include ripe plums, cherries, violets, mineral notes, vanilla and chocolate (from the wine’s aging in French Oak), and some spice. Harmonious on the palate, with balanced acidity and delicate tannins, making for a persistent finish.
